# Swapping tokens

## Step 1 - Bridge Assets From Mainnet

Polygon zkEVM is a layer 2 solution for Ethereum. This means that you must first bridge assets you already have on ETH over. You can use the official zkEVM bridge linked on our site for convenience!

## Step 2 - Swap!
